• Tırsan was established to serve the transportation market in 1977.

• Started manufacturing parts for the automotive industry by signing license agreement with the British YORK LTD. In 1985.

• Built the largest trailer manufacturing plant in Turkey in 1993.

• Started manufacturing refrigerated trailers with the French company LAMBERET in 1994.

• Became the exclusive distributor of DAF Trucks N.V. in Turkey by signing import agreements in 1995.

• Opened Turkey’s largest After-Sales Centre in 1998.

• Opened the first Turkish trailer manufacturing plant in Europe Goch/Germany in 1998.

• Acquired Kässbohrer tank truck and silo divisions and was rewarded the DAF-TIRSAN Accreditation certificate in 2002.

• Acquired the Dutch trailer company Talson in 2003.

• Today Tırsan continues to be the industry leader with its employees.

• Tırsan celebrates its 30th anniversary in transportation industry in 2007.

• Acquired the German tank producer Hendricks in 2007.
